Continuous Professional Development, abbreviated as CPD, is needed by every professional to continue to be relevant in his/her field of practice. And especially in a very dynamic field like the health sector, one has no excuse for periodic professional training.

This week, the Medical and Surgical Skills Institute Ghana, a premier CPD institute located in the city, takes center stage in the lists of institutions providing CPD courses, with a twist to satisfy the needs of the new normal.

On Wednesday 7th April 2021, experts at MSSI Ghana will organize an online training on the topic ‘Management of Eclampsia in Pregnancy’. This training has been scheduled to take place at 4:00pm, a time where most practitioners would have closed from work and settled at home. It is a mix-up basket for doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and midwives at all levels. The cost of the training is only GHC50 which will cater for certificate and course materials. Again on Thursday 8th April 2021, Mrs Faustina Excel Adipa, a Critical Nurse Instructor at Ministry of Health School of Peri-Operative and Critical Care Nursing will moderate a panelists of nurse educators, managers, and clinicians on the topic, ‘The Impact of Covid-19 on Effective and Efficient Nursing Practice.

This is a free training targeting nurses and midwives at all levels. The time for the discussion is 3:30pm and will be organized by MSSI Ghana. Interested participants can click on the link below to register or call 0244334392 or 0244334393 for assistance. https://bit.ly/2Q2PKKY
